Lead Process Technician - Wafering and Fabrication
Scope:
Lead Process Technician will assist Operations Leadership in executing the manufacturing plan. Role includes tasks related to producing silicon carbide crystals and wafering them to final product.
Responsibilities:
• Lead execution of the shift production plan and communicate assignments and priorities to the team members.
• Lead pass down meetings between shifts.
• Communicate with the Operations Manager to obtain goals.
• Monitor raw materials / consumables to sustain operations.
• Serve as initial point of contact for escalation in troubleshooting manufacturing process and equipment issues on assigned shift.
• Learn, understand, and perform multiple process steps related to the manufacturing of Silicon Carbide wafers.
• Provide training to others on the team regarding Processes, Procedures, Safety, etc.
• Accurately follow and complete required documentation (batch records, forms, Quality system documentation)
• Lead by example by adhering to all procedures, including gowning and safety requirements at all times.
• Maintain a safe and clean, with good housekeeping, work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Well-developed critical thinking skills with a proven ability to schedule and plan work processes to meet deadlines.
Proven ability to evaluate risk and make sound decisions.
Good written / oral communication, reading and comprehension skills.
Self-motivation, a good safety record, and good lab / work habits
